This is still going strong - I was expecting it to be fading based on the predicted drinking window but it had plenty of blackcurrant fruit. Typically Chilean but quite serious, especially for the price, with good spice to it, as well as green herbaceous character.

Opened 30 minutes before pouring. Deep crimson colour. Initially closed and a little bit musty, but soon opened to show glorious blackcurrant fruit and a jammy palate. Appears bigger than its 14% alcohol, so will suit those who like big new world cabernet. Medium finish. Some sediment in the last glass, so should have decanted.
