Excellent and drinking very well currently. Has some of the usual CA Chardonnay characteristics; tropical fruit, relatively high al Phil etc. but with good acidity and terrific balance. I wish I had more.

Purchased at the winery two years ago after enjoying it at a tasting. Not so dazzled this time around.
Light straw in color with a nose of green apple, peach, and minerality. On entry to the palate the first impression is one of cream and oak followed by flavors of apple, peach, and pineapple. What left us disappointed was the absence of acidity. The mouthfeel was rich and unctuous but lacking structure. Reading others’ reviews, where acidity was reported, maybe we got a bum bottle?

P: MF, poss Med, body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish oak/frt NICELY counterbalanced by almost pckerish acidity, this pretty much resolving by the FAIRLY LONG (albeit very, VERY slightly faint), slightly spicy, VERY slightly tangy finish. Every bit the = of a lieu dit Meursault, I suspect this will improve through '17, then drink nicely into '20, possibly longer. VERY nicely done! 95 pts WA, 92-94 Vinous, 92 Prince of Pinot, & 88 WS; 14.2% ABV, 594 cs

A very enjoyable if fairly straight-forward bottle of rich and reasonably balanced chard.
