Wines Tasted at HDH Auction: Small glass, brief note. A big step up vs Charmes-Chambertin with more roasted meat and very good depth and concentration along with good black cherry and plum.

We had the 2013 Van Canneyt Chambertin and Beze side by side. Nice call by Peter, as these were both delicious and surprisingly open. Definitely a producer to check out for those that haven't.

HDH Burgundy Auction; 4/13/2018-4/14/2018 (Chicago, IL): I really hate to put this note here, but my pour of this was done in by a really poorly cleaned glass.
