Soft and juicy for a Sangiovese, slightly sweet, with some substance. I wonder if the ripeness is the result of the hot Puglia climate or if they are putting in some other variety to round the "corners". Anyway very interesting for its price.

Never would have guessed Sangiovese. Really shows what a warm climate will do to the grape. Much heavier than typical Sangiovese although there was some good fruit. Was much better with food. Almost falls somewhere between a typical Sangiovese and a primativo.

An Evening at The Table: My previous notes hold. Much heavier than a typical Sangiovese. This is a wine that must accompany food.
