Strawberry, light cherry, spices, watermelon jolly rancher, a little hot on the tail end, but not over the top anymore. Really interesting Rose and much bigger and stronger than most you will come across, however the balance is quite good. The wife loves it!

Popnd pour, followed over 6 hrs. Alternating between cold and warm. (was better served with a chill)
Agree that this is a big rose. Lots of savory character unexpectedly fills this worrisome red-appearing wine. There is lots of strawberry, melon, and even a hint of bubble gum on the nose and palate. But thankfully, those are held in check by all kinds of subtleties - cucumbers for instance! Not a simpleton, this is a complex rose on the refreshing side of the spectrum, but could use a bit more acidity to really satisfy my thirst. However, at 15.5% abv, I won't be gulping. I think I would have preferred that cleaned out a bit. Unsure as to aging this monster, but I suspect it would last a few years.
All in all, a delicious rose best served with food amongst geeks on a hot day.

Again this wine is a monster Rose, huge alcohol but it does a good job of hiding it this time around.

Urban Heights - 03 Cathelin, 90 LP, 97 Rayas, 07 IX, 11 LPV & etc. (Urban Heights - Bethesda, Maryland): Apparently made by SQN vine manager. Despite 15.5% abv, it is quite cool and no noticeable heat. Big scale rose, mostly strawberry and cherry. Not bad but relatively simple. Good summer wine that will give you a nice buzz.

Drinking better than the first bottle, a full throttle Rose to be sure, good length and extraction. Enjoyed to start and finish Fathers Day.
