Continues to age gracefully and has matured to resemble the 2007 - classic aromas and real depth and balance to the wine....a few more to look forward to - must have had a few cases of the 07 and 08 and we are big fans - put it in amongst other more recognized and certainly more expensive wines at the dinner table and see which runs out first

Love it. Pungency like my Slovenian family's wine. Not like most Italian wines I'm used to. Not fruit forward in the Italian sense, but has that classic chalky and earthy tones. Honestly love this.

An interesting contrast to the lacrima di morro d’alba served alongside. Dense, inky, smoky, slightly saline mineralwasser, restrained ripe black fruit, slightly pruney but not offputting, as there’s enough acidity to counterbalance. Smoky in the forefront. Nice that it’s aged before release. Reminds me of Madiran, but less tannic.

Med to full body, dark fruit sturdy tannin structure. A little funkiness and a somewhat off tasting.
