Tasted over 2 hrs -semi-translucent light red with clearing -stony red fruit with savory roasted grain note -med+/high acidity, med-/light weight tart red cherry mineral earth, med-/light tannins -not much darker than some hefty rosés this is really pleasant and refreshing, provides some textural qualities that avoid this being harsh or shrill, an excellent choice for a house red

Coravin. Pale ruby, seems like it could almost be a very dark rose; medium-plus intensity aromatics with red berries, spice; palate is light bodied, some spice, some red fruit, light tannins; finish is short-medium length. Lissome is a great word for this wine. Great QPR, and very enjoyable with food, but the length is a bit short and the wine lacks the depth to be excellent. I would buy again at $25. 88 2 hours air: the nose is a real strength here with an elegance to it which is inviting. Palate is fairly good, maybe filling out a tad from when it was first opened. 89 Opened the remainder and gave it 3-4 hours of air. Really nice, even better than when first opened. For the price this is really stellar, but even setting aside the price this is lovely, balanced, and complex. 90+

I'm a big fan of the 2012, so purchased x 9 of this when offered. It is also very pleasing. There is plenty of grip and spice notes, almost gamey, but very fluid and will be a fun wine for many years. Great QPR for $30. Recommended. Drink now-2030.

I was surprised by the first taste of sugar in the wine though it was wonderfully blended. Great QPR and quite enjoyable.
