  • This was a leaker under the capsule; always fun to watch a nearly 25 year old white exit the bottle a medium straw color and within 10 seconds in the glass, it’s turned to medium golden; thankfully it’s in great shape, mango and lime; beautiful ripeness and evolution with moderate sweetness and good acidity. Delicious on its own and with slightly spicy pork lo mein. Bought this for $30 just a few years ago, a steal. 92+

  • Medium yellow colored. The palate reveals red apple flavors with a hint of lime, good acidity and a wonderfully creamy mouthfeel. Moderate sweetness (perhaps a smudge higher than I'd expect) and well-balanced. The finish is medium and gentle. Delicious. Probably at/near peak but should drink well through 2025+. 7.5%abv.

  • Drinking very nicely right now with some gentle red fruited notes, lemon cream and a moderate, understated sweetness. There's a pleasant creamy aspect on the back end and really nice acidity. Lovely.

  • This is in prime form right now, even from a bottle that showed notable ullage. Spice, red fruit & custard creaminess all blended together & served on a platter of slate. Kicks ass now.

  • Slightly muted aromatically at first, but this explodes in the mouth from the first sip. Classic Würzgarten strawberries, spice, lime and slate with a creamy aspect at the back end and a sense of polish and grace. With a little air the aromatics open up and catch up to the palate, and this disappears very quickly. Wonderful wine.
