Decanted and consumed over the next four hours. This effort contained a flavor profile that I just did not care about. The wine was much too tart and lacked gripping tannis to offset. Disappointed since Kenefick wines are usually enjoyed.

Coravin’d 2lg glasses. Nose of rich dark fruit, Heavily textured wood and spice/pepper. Aroma is more full and lush than when the wine crosses the palate. Just a bit more shallow than ideal, but with dusty mid-palate finish that lingers.
Will track remaining bottles by 2019, minimal air.

Nose of burnt wood, tar. Medium light weight, and losing more dabs with 90 minutes of bottle air. Hint of green front pallet, seven fine-grained/silky tannins; not a bad one for the price but not memorable either. Unfortunately I didn’t read other CT notes before popping this court so I’ll allow more time or decant with my final bottle.

This really opened up after three plus hours. Make sure to allow sufficient time to decant. Tight and rather bland initially.
