  This is very interesting. The cork was in great shape. The wine was almost entirely clear to the bottom. I bought this wine at release so please don’t say that this must be a fake. We hardly left but a small fraction of an ounce behind when decanting. The color was red and deep with hardly any sign of brick. The nose was the most amazing. It was a complete flower garden. I have never had this level of exotic bouquet from any Bordeaux wine. It is huge and like lady’s perfume. On the palate, the wine was brightly acidic. This part is consistent with the nose but the flavors on the palate was more subdued. This was like spring time which is quite unexpected for this age. Apart from over the top unusual, this wine was amazing for being a 24-year old cru bourgeois and not showing age. Someone who tasted this wine with me thought it could have another 20 years. The huge bouquet was most unusual and in a pleasant way.
