Was the star at a few Chardonnay tastings back in 2018/2019 but feels slightly on the decline this time around. Much better than Hunting Hill 13 next to it though. Perhaps seen some storage warmth along the way somewhere, or perhaps starting to fade, ah well, plenty of younger ones to enjoy!

Still haven't had a Kumeu I've been impressed with. 8 years old, and the main impression was of relatively weedy citrus fruit along with too much reduction. Didn't seem to have enough stuffing to make waiting for something magical to happen seem like a winning bet.

This was amazing—piercing acidity balanced with subtle oak, plenty of pleasant stone fruit and white flower bouquet. Much better than sub $100 burgundy whites I have tried recently. Perfect pairing with grilled branzino and shrimp pasta.

really good, like the '14 version this bottle had good puligny typicity with high acid and citric fruit, but it also had a strong "other" element that was something like lemon or lime rind, sort of a strong sweet and bitter at the same time thing going on that was really nice but not sure I would want to drink it night after night... anyway, these bottles a good value
