Unusual pale yellowish pink color. Clean floral and citrus nose followed by a clean and bright acidity with light cherry and watermelon fruit in the mouth. The swallow unleashes a spike of flavors with a light brush of tannin. Strong acidity and a decent concentration keep this wine from being unenjoyably thin. Went well with most every food.

Very pale rose. (Clear bottle shows the color, though hard pressed to spot as a rose in the glass.) Shows similar characteristics as previously: light flowery aroma with good acidity. Appears more balanced than previous note suggests; additional bottle time has helped integrate the components. Seems to be one of those roses that benefits with a year of bottle age.

Very pale, almost clear. Light flowery aroma with good mouth feel. Acidity is quite strong; good with food, but at this point may need a bit of bottle age to see if it calms down some more. Regardless, very good wine.

Very, very pale salmon/pink tinge. More flowers than citrus, with a back-end bite. Fairly tight and structured; more complex than the usual rose, and should be good for at least the next couple of years.
