PNP. Flint, citrus and lilac on the nose. Crisp, chalky and acidic palate with tons of tightly wound dry extract and minerals. Densely packed without weight, showing complex flavors of white stone fruits, citrus, flowers, anise and herbs. Still quite severe and in need of a lot of time.

2022 Excellent Burgundy Adventure; 10/31/2022-11/6/2022 (Burgundy): Intense youthful nsoe disaplying perfectly ripe rich concentrated yellow citrus fruit, lemon curd, lemon oil, a hint of flint, mint, honeysuckle, cream, sweet spices and crushed rocks. Exceptional concentration, layers upon layers of intense yellow citrus fruit, incredibly rich and denes but also lazor like focus and precision, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a long intense yellow fruit driven finish with a hint of flint at the end. The is a classic rich and masculine Batard. Excellent wine.

Very pretty, aromatic and explosive nose of lemon, stone fruit and biscuit. Palate is round, balance and intense with sharp mineral and laser acidity. Nose is better than the palate at the moment. Definitely needs time to grow. Very comfy wine and lots of upside but still accessible now. No one gonna hate it.

Intially rather tight giving off just a whiff of lemon. Also some waxy character which I tend to not like when too much but in this wine it was just right. The wine is packing a lot and it’s taking time to unfold. Quite a bit of sulfur and matchstick trying to come out. Very mineral on the taste. Balanced but also muted on the taste. More lemon. Difficult to assess the wine as it’s clear that there is so much there but won’t come out. Probably not the best window to taste so recommend to wait a few years or give lots of air and follow over the course of an evening. Just one glass for me which wasn’t enough to do the wine justice. Lots of upside. Mid-to-high 90’s potential.

Quite dense with a long finish. Intense minerality, multi-layered wine very rich and intense. This is the best PYCM I can recall tasting, much better than the '14 Leflaive Batard served beside it.
