deep 'dark' ruby, shows lots of wood, some smokiness, leather and spices, accompanied by delicious fruit like cranberries and raspberry jam. juicy, tannic, showing medium acidity and long finish. lacks balance (or integration?), maybe due to its youngness, but is still very good. to drink slowly.
