Drank at Thanksgiving dinner. From 375 ml bottle. Cork saturated to the top.
Dark in color (coke like). Nose of tea and citrus tropical fruit. On the palate this wine really showed well. Nice acidity with some sweetness left along with flavors of tea, honey and lemon tartness. Medium plus finish. This was much different than the bottle I had a year ago.

Old School Cali Cab Tasting (Colicchio & Sons, New York, NY): My bottle. (10.5% alcohol, 16.4 g/l RS.) Deep and dark - very sweet nose: apricots, tea, spicy, stewed veggies, molasses. Lacking a little acid but tasty - brown spices. Fig. Caramel and apricots on finish. Nose - 4.5-5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 14-14.5/20.

Pastry like on the nose with, vanilla, apricot, lemon curd and a slight tea note. Very smooth on the palate, apricots galore, still lightly sweet. Medium finish. I don't see this wine getting any better, but can last for possibly another five years.
SS 92pts.
