The last two years have treated this so well. Without losing an ounce of verve this has completely come together. An exciting citrus, bark, caraway, cardamom, raspberry, pine, and red pepper nose. What's evolved is the harshness in the palate: it's still edgy but quickly pivots to a juicy and deeply satisfying fruit sweetness.

60 pinot 40 Gamay Earthy wild raspberry nose with a little graphite. Well put-together as compared to other small-production Chevernys but without losing its Gamay edge. and medium long in the young mouth. Love the finish.

Had to share this evocative, gorgeous, wild young thing with some friends, who loved it just as much. An outstanding, compelling wine.
