This is really drinking well now. Very smooth and full bodied, with rich dark fruits. I had a bottle of this 3 years ago, in 2017, and found it somewhat tight and tannic, so for that reason I gave this bottle a good 4+ hour decant. That may not have been entirely necessary, but it didn't hurt a bit.

blackpepper, liquorice and dried meats, some smoky cedar and spice. flavours of liquorice, black cherries and blackberries with a smoky dried meat overlay and peppery finish. elegant Shiraz.

Sydney good food and wine show (Olympic Park, Homebush, Sydney): Blackberry and pepper, touches of black cherry, spice and quite perfumed notes…dense and thick black fruits and spice, a juicy like then tight, chalky tannins dry things out especially on the front of the mouth.
