Deep tawny in color. Nose of orange peel, toffee, and dried apricots. Tastes of blood oranges, dried apricots, autumnal spices, cloves, and hint of toffee. Pronounced acidity and tertiary fruit flavors. At or just past peak but still delicious. Drink now and over next 3 years.

from a 250ml bottle. Carmel colored. Crazy complex aromas of apricots and ripe orange marmalade. Honey sweet on the palate with dried spices, more apricots and citrus fruits. very slight oxidation, and the acids are just starting to fade. Drink up over the next year!

4th Saturday group "uptown" tasting (R&D's): Courtesy of J&S. Apricot and oear notes with honey undertones. Wonderful rich texture with bright underlying acidity. Apricot and ripe stone fruit flavors with a long finish. So good.

first time with a tokay and i adored the complex smoky, burnt butter and blood orange flavours. i can see this is well stored... slight oxidative creeping in but just enough to make it interesting... need to seek out more. lasted a week in the fridge.. best second night

Tawny colored. Carmel, coffee, toffee overtones. Sweet baked apple and orange marmalade fruit. Lacking acidity- past prime.
