It is utterly ridiculous. I found this in the bottom of a pile of bottles that were not inventoried and assumed it'd be crap. It was, however, an affirmation of the genius of the Cotats and further of the inherent idea of terroir over all. Orange in hue with sediment in the bottle. (like deep salmon color). Nose was crystalline white wine (true Sancerre) smell with a whiff of dried onion skin and stone. Rich attack with no fruit to speak of. Palate was generous with a long finish. Touch of tertiary savoriness. This is almost enough to get me to lay down in traffic and the single most surprising wine of the year.

A bit dusty, slightly past its prime, sort of non descript. Tournament of Rosés, from Eric of Epicurus.

Very similar character to the whites. Red fruit, almonds. Amazing.

Wonderfully precise aroma of strawberries, dry but smooth, lovely Pinot Noir.
