  • This was great but not at the same level as the Petit Mont tonight. But very happy to drink this wine anytime, anyplace.

  • 1991 & Everything Else (Spoon & Stable, Mpls, MN): Medium ruby red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over 90 minutes. This was a bit reticent on the nose at first, but really blossomed over 45 minutes. The nose is exciting with strawberry, raspberry, ripe, slightly savory notes, hints of dolce de leche, and fresh cut flowers. The palate shows great purity, strawberry, raspberry, bright, savory, crazy good and long. We drank this side by side with a '91 1er Les Petit Mont and the similarities were striking. Both were fantastic with the edge going to the Les Petit Monts with just an extra gear. Both great wines are drinking in top form. I recall hearing: "We're drinking our burgs too young...." and "We need to drink more '91's". Do you concur? Yes, I concur. 94+pts.
