Light gold. On the nose, notes of honey, almonds, preserved lemon, a whisper of nutmeg. Mellow round fruit on the palate with notes of fig, medium to full body, low alcohol (12.5%), golden filigreed acid, lingering finish, like a high soprano note lasting forever. Beautifully aged and balanced, with a taut fleshiness.

Creamy, stone fruit skin and peach. My notes also say orange zest. This was the least interesting of the White Wine components that we tasted as part of deconstructing that wine and pairing them to our meal. There is a glossy sense to this, a fatter expression which I would believe is the muscles for the White Wine, helping to refine the intensity of the Sauv Blanc which we also tasted separately.

Matthiasson Dinner (FMIII in the OC): This don't really sell this wine much, I think Jill mentioned they keep it mostly around the house for themselves. The juice is blended into the flagship white blend. Light acidity and light yellow tree fruit. Very smooth and soft.
