These are so underrated. Often the case with Rioja. The great thing about Prado Enea, is that it never seems to close, it just gets better. The balance is mind blowing - so fresh, so complex and so elegant. Decanted for 1.5 hrs.

Using WSET 3 system: Medium ruby, medium + intensity on nose On nose - red cherry, strawberry, red apple peel, rose, cinnamon, baking spice, vanilla, tar, touch of green pepper, prune, black pepper, szechuan peppercorn, meat, plum, tobacco. Developing Dry, medium+ acid, medium+ tannin, high alcohol, full body Flavor intensity is pronounced Flavors - echoes nose with more notes of vanilla, cinnamon Finish - long BLIC - gets all 4 - outstanding Drink now, suitable for further aging
This is a really nice wine. I have disliked many Rioja in the past but not this one. Well balanced. I think a wine like this really needs a lot of age. Drinking very well now.

Consumed two bottles over a spicy hotpot with friends, so no formal notes. But from memory, this is a very traditional Rioja, quite deep red and beautifully balanced. There are no signs of age, just gorgeous mellowness (if that's a word). This has everything I could want from a Rioja Gran Reserva. I would expect this to hold good for another 10 years.

Nicely done. Nice integration of medium intensity fruit, acidity and tannin. Not too much oak. Long life ahead. The standout from Muga’s lineup.

Dark, brooding wine. Notes of cherries, vanilla and sandalwood. Excellent!
