Good QPR wine, bought case at $20/per. Consistent with most previous notes, this is not a big, bold, Cali Pinot. This is closer to a Burgundy than that.

Black Lion Wine Club - Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir Tasting (The Black Lion): Medium ruby. Medium intensity aromas of cherry, red currant, cranberry, liquorice, earth. Developing. Dry palate, medium (+) acidity, medium ripe tannins, medium (+) alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavours similar to the nose. Medium (-) finish. Good quality at best, rather dilute and disappointing. Doesn't live up to the tasting note from the Wine Society. Drink up.
