  Clásico tempranillo con barrica, clásico Rioja. Intenso, expresivo, directo, con poca acidez remanente. Poco complejo pero ofrece lo que promete. Largo.

  Decanted.
  Aromas show a crème coconut edge to the notes slightly dried cherry, cranberry, and goji with vanilla, herbs, cedar, leather, earth and hints of herb, tea and dried florals.
  The palate shows a nice youthfulness with lively acidity, fine tannins and fruit flavors of red cherry, goji, cranberry sauce, spice, dried rose vanilla, coconut, tea and hints of dried herbs, cedar and earth. The finish is balanced and moderate.

  Have had several 09's and decided to jump ahead to this 10'. Nice deep dark cherry color and nose with some tobacco cedar on the nose. Glad I did go to this as fruit seems to be either in awkward phase or slowly fading. Still has some tannins and acidity to carry it on for awhile. Enjoyable but I'd probably drink in next year or so.

  With air time aromas showcase cigar box and cedar upfront followed by scents juniper, potpourri, herbs and tea with notes of dried cherry, dried goji berry, dried cranberry and earth.
  The palate is medium bodied with well integrated, moderate tannins and lively acidity that provides lift and freshness. The flavors of cranberry, goji and a mix of fresh and dried cherries that mingle with notes of tobacco, leather, cedar, herbs, earth and floral notes of potpourri are homogenous and linger through the finish.
