  Big fragrance and flavor profile of dark, ripe fruits, black pepper, leather, hints of Christmas spices; medium weight, medium+ acidity, firm young tannin - but not dominant; very savory; slightly too alcoholic; really great, persistent finish of bitter cherry and minerals. A wine that needs double-decanting for 60 minutes – in fact it was better on night two – and a proper meal; this is no cocktail wine. Drink to 2028+. Good QPR.

  Colour on the light side. Nose is dominated by freshly ground black pepper on a backdrop of dark, rather ripe fruit. Dry, with a medium acidity and a medium+ body. An interesting wine that I probably would have put down as a southern Rhone with heavy Syrah influences had I tasted it blind. Lacks a bit of depth and complexity.

  Di corpo.caldo (14,5%).rotondo.fresco.sapido.giust tannico.
  Equilibrato.
  Retrolf: int.fine.persistente.
  Ottimo.
