Toro Pago La Jara vertical tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of sweet baking spices, cinnamon, warm earth, violets, redcurrant, red plums. Developed. On the palate, dry, good high acidity, high alcohol (15%), chewy high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of red plums, redcurrant, earth, sweet tea leaves, baking spices, integrated oak. Medium+ finish. Good quality. Weak rainy vintage. Has retained good acidity nonetheless. Good to drink already. Not the sort to make old bones.

Viña 100% en vaso dentro de la parcela Pago La Jara. Vendimia 100% manual en caja, selección de campo. Fermentación con levaduras autóctonas, en tinas de madera de roble de 3.000 l. Envejecimiento durante 18 meses en barricas francesas de bosques de diferente procedencia, 70% nuevas, 20% de vino y 10% fudre de 1.500 litros.
Color morado oscura, capa muy alta. Nariz con notas sutiles, arenoso. Boca cálida y terreo. Paso por boca fino con mucha tierra, terreo. Astringencia marcada y un tanino bastante secante.
