  • Still super young. Took a good 2 hours in a carafe to start developing. The fruit is very vibrant and concentrated. Licorice, cherries, cranberries. Medium tannins. Don't think this is American oak. This is still a baby.

  • Toro Pago La Jara vertical tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of violets, sweet spices, ripe red cherries, red plums, redcurrant. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), rounded supple high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe red plums, redcurrant, sweet oak toast, baking spices, licorice. Long finish.
Good quality. Has potential. Should develop well. Could improve.
