  Garnet to ruby color. This wine had a nose of mineral and some dark fruits that weren't very revealing. The palate of this wine showed flavors of cherry, strawberry and a little leather. The person that brought this wine confessed that it had been sitting in the car for several hours on a pretty warm day - but I only figured that out after I was drinking this bottle. Still, I have no doubts that this wine was not damaged - it was probably just not terrific to begin with. Not bad, but not special either.
