From cask: Bright, slightly purplish ruby. Very nice nose - earthy, oak spiced and rustic red and black fruit, and very well balanced. Sweet and expansive mouth entry but not much depth. Good well-balanced tannins and a nice savoury finish. Excellent village wine. Worth noting that Madame Michelot advised that the sample was a little more oaky than the final blend will be (50% v 35% new oak). 3

Fine, slightly lighter style, elegant, transparent and clean, fresh but ripe fruit, tannins still a bit dry, should develop well.
