Hartsyard supper (Hartsyard, Newtown): medium minus intensity aromas of ripe blackberry and bramble, slightly toasty and with floral top notes. On the palate it's off dry, bramble is under ripe blackberry which is joined by a touch of cream, a little texture, soft mousse, perfectly pleasant.

Ruby, a little clear on the rim. Nose of dark berries and plum, body is medium+, with fine bubbles that create a lovely texture. On the palate, the berries and plum resonate, good length on the dry finish. Lovely.

Disgorged 2015. Excellent holiday wine, best of it's style made period. Equally highlights Shiraz characteristics and the fun refreshment of a sparkler. At the beginning you get the tannins, and slightly fortified/aged/dried dark fruit. The end is a very pleasant semi dry sparkling finish. It is the perfect mix of sweet, sour, tart, sun dried, and bubbly dark fruit. It paired amazingly with our Indian food as if we were drinking an excellent substitute for tamarind chutney made to go with the meal.

As they age the taste intensifies as the bubbles flatten out. Amazing to compare with current vintage when the night requires 2 bottles
