Medium nose shows baking spice, red plum, black cherry, dried vanilla, rose petals. Palate shows sweeter style, oak notes are strong, red fruits mostly, some black tones, cedar, fresh herbs, some mocha. Tasty and crowd pleasing general medium bodied red, but nothing really in the way of style regarding Washington or Malbec.

14.1% alcohol, medium to heavy foil, real cork, inky red, medium legs, tasted at 15 degrees C; heavy fruit in the nose, tasting notes of stone fruit, berries, minerals, earth; a little more tannic than fruit, which a bit more cellaring might remedy, but still complex and interesting, full bodied; not really sweet, but a trace of sweetness, medium finish; we enjoyed it with chicken shawarma on the grill; currently marked down about 25% at Costco, a fine Malbec at any price

Easy to drink. Very smooth and fruit Laden. Tasted more like a blend than a Malbec. Not very complex but very food friendly. Great QPR at Costco.
