Light red colour. Open nose of warm spice, plum and dry wood. Good weight, complex and elegant. Spicy and warm finish. Good lenght. Drink up within a year or two.

Bit rustic and dry, but nevertheless decent. Probably best to have with a meal. Second day slightly better. I am used to better from this domaine. Next bottle in another year or so although I am not convinced it will improve much.

Full bodied, very dry with coarse tannins and medium(+) acidity. Almost austere mouthfeel and lots of heat from the alcohol makes this hard to enjoy right now. Maybe time in the cellar can sort this one out cause it sure has the structure and intensity for long aging. For me this is a pass.

Tour du Rhône (limited notes here and there): Very ripe and heavy, almost port-like nose showing raisin, prune, blackberry, garrigue herbs, soy sauce and toasted oak.

2017 International Wine Fair hosted by Dynamic wines. (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney): Bretty, peppery and funky over slight blackberry fruit. Juicy, warm, tight taninns but sharp the sharp, slightly unripe, black berry fruit persists beneath these tannins. Bullish.
