Quite ripe and warm on the nose, with cherries, raspberry jam, tomatoes, and a bit of chocolate. Quite a distinct oak presence, with hints of vanilla and dill, but mainly this dry, balsamico type of wood I often find in Italian wines. Dry on the palate with rather soft tannins, medium+ body, generous intensity and a good acidic finish. Nice wine!

The Cenerentola was a very pleasant and exciting wine to try, as it contains 35% Foglia Tonda, a native grape of the region, which almost went extinct. The nose was dark and spicy, displaying rich strawberry and brown spice with hints of cocoa powder. On the palate, I found full-bodied, broad textures with brisk acidity adding vibrancy to its persistent red and blue fruits. It finished long on fine tannin, leaving a sensation of youthfulness and making me wonder when it’s sweet spot of maturity will arrive. This maybe the future of this new region.

Lush and fruit forward with slightly perfumed nose of roses and cherries. Very good quality of the fruit wich is dominated by black and red cherry with some sweeter, darker notes of blackberries and boysenberries. Good structure with well integrated oak. Medium+ acidity, good earthy minerality, some spice and herbs. Medium+ finish. Good stuff!
