Second bad bottle from the liquor store I located this at. Cork wet and crusty, and wine tasted like apple cider vinegar. But not cloudy. Don't think I will ever know how this wine is supposed to taste like unless I buy one only a few years old.

Lots of tropical fruit notes and some slate-like minerality. A bit simpler than I was hoping for, but plenty of bite on the finish. Probably best to hold for another year or two.

This was opened by Otis at his home before the David v. Goliath tasting. It was drinking very well now although wines from the Graacher Himmelreich vineyard often drink well early on. I find that they suffer from a dumb phase much less than wines from many other vineyards. Rich texture. Notes of green apple and nectar. moderately sweet. Clean finish. 90 points.

Cork wet almost to top, dark brown w/abundant sediment and oak taste. Dissapointed as I was looking forward to opening a good reisling.
