  • Beautiful dark red colour. The nose is all about the game notes, the ripe cherries, a whiff of eucalyptus and the suggestion of sous-bois. Very elegant palate with a perfect balance between the elements and a precise acidity. The fruit is ripe but never jammy entwined with a slight vegetable note (never intrusive). Ends with medium length and a drop of drieness that interrupts the velvety character. More elegant than usually (Barrosa tends to be more full bodied) but full of charm and still a couple of winters away from its prime. Great with food.
