A really nice surprise. Was thinking this would be past prime and thin......I was wrong. It's in a really nice place, but was better on day two and three, so be sure and decant several hours. Nice balance of fruit and tannin.....smooth. Oak, black fruit, forest floor, etc. Worth holding back for awhile.

In a very nice place. Probably the best balance bottle since early on. Tannin's largely resolved, aromatically expressive. Very Pessac. Wish this weren't the last bottle Accessible, can go a bit longer. I drank now on the assumption that since it was never very structured, and I believe, from young vines, should be drunk sooner rather than later. I needn't have 91-92

Fully mature, this soft, round, smoky, black cherry and tobacco filled wine delivers a sweet, earthy, black raspberry, soft finish. There is no reason to hold this wine any longer.

Quite accessible, nicely balanced with enough acidity for good cut, and fairly tame tannin for an 05 This is drinking well. Some hints of secondary flavor development, but not a great deal. Delicious now, and will last, but I don't think it is a wine for the long haul.

This wine needed at least a 2 hour decant before really opening up - wonderful wine once it did!
