Excellent, 13.5% alc. Merlot dominant with Cabernet Sauvignon. Colour: deep dusty black berries Bouquet: minerals, blackberry, forest floor, touch of mint, leafy Palate: similar to bouquet, plus licorice flavours, leather and forest floor, dusty, chalky, big soft tannins, long clean finish, full bodied August 2017

For a wine I paid less than $20 3 years ago, I am super impressed! It really shows that buying Bordeaux from non Cru Classe in great vintages is great value!. It has pencil lead, Cabernet aromas with ample oak and red to black fruits. Richer fruit concentration than I expected with still tannins to match with steaks. Long, Cabernet finish.. Reminds me more of a 5th growth Pauillac. If you find this wine, your in for a treat!

Earthy graphite, licorice and leather balanced with fruit, lingers with good length

Found this when rearranging the cellar; raw meat and herbs on the nose. Nice long finish. Anticipate it will do well with bison sirloin tonight.
