  The aromas on this wine are earthy, showing leather and brambles wrapped around juicy blackberries. The blackberries show on the palate, together with nutmeg up front. The spice profile widens across the mid palate, and acidity grows, showing some green apple character. The fruit is primarily dark and rich late, while ghosts of raspberries rise above it, bringing a touch of brightness. 89+
