  Tasted at the winery. Peach and light tropical notes on the nose. Between light and medium bodied with soft white apple upfront, adding a touch of additional density through the middle and well as a mix of delicate tropical hints. Wine has retained a bit of acidity towards the back and as the fruit through the mid-body is rounded and open, this provides enough structure to leave the wine feeling complete. Impressed with how well this wine has held together and can still deliver good fruit after this length of time.

  This wine had a nose of ginger, lavender, pineapple and lemon and had a somewhat matching taste with lemon and pineapple dominating. The finish was long and tasted of cinnamon and other less identifiable spices. Had a solid body, a good balance and a nice effervescent quality which might be the result of not being opened until now.

The fruit tasted more like raspberry than anything else, unlike the citrus or apple I expected. Decent balancing acidity with the uncharacteristic fruit flavor but the finish was surprisingly short, almost nonexistent. Not what I expect from this wine and producer. Would try this vintage again to see if it was just this bottle, but if anything like this bottle, I'd avoid.
