Lovely wine. Served with BBQ - wings, pulled pork and brisket. The BBQ was fantastic and the wine paired nicely with it. Wine was dark, fruity and tannic, with a nice long juicy finish. Would buy again.

This is quite nice. The nose is surprisingly old world with tar and leather. Kind of like a young aglianico. Red fruit as well, with some flowers.
On the palate, it's a bit tannic, but after having been open for an hour nothing unreasonable. Plenty of acid to keep things balanced and more tar and red fruit. Maybe some orange peel and Christmas pudding. Just a little bit of heat on the end.

A good bargain on k&l for a third of its retail price. It is an old world wine with ruby red in color. It gives out an old school leather and tar profile while trying to balance the modern enthusiast. You also get a dark fruit and berry effervescence with light cherry. Smooth with chewy tannins, this wine is ready to drink now in 2020.

Nice. This was purchased at a clearance site for $19. Great QPR at that price. Dark fruit, nice peppery complexity and decent finish. We enjoyed this with burritos. Would buy again.
