  This was a good wine, and as described below, medium bodied with softening tannins, with dark red color. Very drinkable with good, red fruit coming through, not overly earthy at this point. The nose wasn't particularly strong, and it went well with grilled steak. Not sure this wine will get much better at this stage with more time in the bottle.

  Mostly consistent, dark fruits and sweet dark cherry showing. The sweet notes in the mid palate round this out nicely. Medium weight and finish. Most of the Napa 2012s in my cellar are accessible now (if not slightly thin). This wine consistent with that, expressive fruit. Not likely to improve much from here

  This wine has just still the same, chunky, rustic, some oak and black fruits after an hour. For what I spent on it I am kind of disappointed. It's nice but I dropped $ 40 a bottle 4 years ago. REally thought it would be more. This is why I am spending my money at De Negoce from CH....

  This wine is just big and chunky. Rustic, with some complexity, you need a big steak. The alcohol is very present and even after 2 hours was there. Oak and some black fruits. I don't think it will improve much. One of the 12's that is disappointing to me, as I usually find them much more fruit forward.
