GMs - Casual Fridays September 2017: Violets, cherry, raspberry and pepper. Sweet fruit, though the tannins kick in well. The ripeness shows through the mid palate as well. I like it, but I prefer when this wine is a little more held back.

Winemaking Chat and Pizza: Rhubarb, graphite, pepper and musk. High acidity on the palate, there is a little funk and some red fruit character. Fairly simple but nice to drink.

Casual Cabernet Franc: Blind. Blood, violet, undergrowth and black pepper. Red fruits are prominent on the palate with good acidity, however the flavour trails off a little early and it feels short as a result. I think this would benefit from some age, however the length is likely to remain an issue if other bottles are the same.

North Side Cru @ Cafe Lyon: Blind. Floral nose with dark chocolate, cherry and musk. Palate is well balanced and has good flow. Decent carry behind it. Didn't enjoy this as much as the 2013 on this occasion.
