  • Appearance: Clear wine with a deep ruby colour.

Nose: Clean nose with a Medium + intensity. This wine is developing.

Really ripe fruit here; plenty of blackberries, plums and that signature eucalyptus. Developing notes of roasted coffee is well matched with both caramel and vanilla, suggesting American oak usage. Lovely, lovely nose.

    Palate:
    Dry
    Medium+ acidity
    Medium+ alcohol
    Medium intensity
    Medium+ body
    Medium finish

Very similar to the nose in profile although at a lower intensity level. Ripe tannins, fresh acidity despite the bottle age and some nice black pepper on the finish. A well made wine.

Very good quality Syrah from Mendoza, Argentina. Can be drank now but will gain complexity over the next 2-5 years. At 11 euros a bottle, great QPR.
