Nice Pinot from Longoria. More of the earthy flavors with mushroom and funky earth but nice hints of plum and your typical cherry flavors. More old world than new for me. This wine is what it is, but I found it to be totally enjoyable, particularly for the price I picked it up for during Last Bottle madness sale. Drink now as I don’t think there is anywhere else this one is going.

Consistent with prior note. Not Burgundian, precisely, but earth-driven in character with excellent weight and fruit core. Outstanding for essentially an entry-level Pinot, though the fruit sources are indeed top notch. Should continue to drink well for several years.

Earth-funk (mushroom, forest floor, game) aromas are prominent initially, cherry and sage characteristics emerge with air. Medium bodied, gentle yet structured, impeccably balanced, fruit forward middle with a long, pure peacock tail finish. A lighter style, but no lack of flavor or depth. Likely best in the next 2-3 years.

Great pinot. Let is open up but maybe only 30 mins. Had it with salmon. Sometimes, keep things simple.
