This feels like cold weather Oregon with some California backbone. Lean, very spicey. Forest. Pine. Great acidity - even harsh at times. Such a different evolution than I had predicted.

This continues to drink well in its youth. Similar flavor profile as last year with the addition of some musty dark cherry. Not going to drink well long-term, but is going to continue to be very tasty for the next 5 years.

Lovely aromatics, indeed, with earth-infused red berry notes. A lean style, for a central coast pinot, with focused raspberry, blueberry flavors, layers of acidity, a silky mouthfeel and lingering finish.

I like this a bit more than the heavily extracted '07. Lot of mushrooms and earthy tones in the aromatics. Cherry cola flavors are forward, with appropriate dryness to the finish. Mild tannin, medium-low acidity. Finish returns to the earthy flavors with some toasty oak evident. Nice typicity, seems built for the near term due to its fruit-forward nature and accessible structure.

Nice tartaric acidity. Bright cherry fruit. A crowd pleaser. Some mushrooms and funk for a central coastie. This Oregonian likes this Cali pinot.
