It is an odd night that finds me drinking back vintage domestic Syrah, but there it was. Still holding on in the bottle. Didn't thrill me but didn't disappoint.

Medium bodied, nicely balanced fruit, good acidity. Not much complexity but a decently long finish. Has a certain elegance. Wish I had more. Certainly worth the $12 price of admission.

I got this from Costco a while back and drank it last week. For the price, this was an enjoyable table wine. Would buy again. Don’t remember much else.

If you still have a bottle, drink it now. A little over the hill.
