Tom & Bruna's Wine Tasting (Edina, MN): One of the better Pinots from just Russian River Valley. Cranberry, strawberry, minerals, sour cherry and wafter. Medium plus finish and plenty of life ahead. Outstanding effort. 93 points

Day one: pulled cork “slow ox’d” for 6hrs (I hate to decant pinot as delicate wines sometimes can’t take it)- the wine it was good. Drank 1/2 bottle with friends- on one went for seconds. Left on shoulders in cellar for 48 hrs…it was fantastic. Med body long finish, berries. I opened it based on other reviews- my recommendation is wait until 2025

2.5 hour decant - on the nose, ripe, ripe black/blue fruit. Seamless oak integration that is delicate and sweet. On the palette, drinks a little warm (14.2% ABV), medium body, long and slightly savory finish with bitter herbs (sage, bay leaf). Low acidity, fully softened tannins, no tertiary flavors yet, drink over the next 3 years. Classic, new world Pinot styling with good concentration and finesse

Popped and poured at outdoor dinner. Glimmering deep red. Ripe red plum, glycerine and cranberry-raspberry notes glide gently across the palate, skating to a long sweet finish. Purity of fruit shines through.
