Skouras Megas Oenos Vertical Tasting (Skouras Winery): Harvest: 15/09, Yield: 450kg/acre, production: 25.000 btl, Alc:11.7% The wine was not decanted. The wine shows a pale bricked color The wine shows medium intensity, dried fruit, raisin, currant, a few tobacco and earthy notes, cigar box, forest floor, dried leaves, faint thin oak frame, sweet spices, cumon, dried tomatoes and a few floral notes. The wine shows low intensity in the palate, refined, elegant, balsamic notes, dissolved tannins, dried cherries, currants, alcohol is more upfront than expected (11.7%), nutty, earthy, short finish. Reminds me of a Bordeaux red from the ‘70s
