Cracked and poured. Tasted non-blind over about one hour. I really liked this, and consider it a good value @$10. 70% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and it tastes exactly as I would expect that blend to taste. Gently fruity with a nice mineral aspect. 13% alc. not noticeable.

Some bitter mineral, metallic taste seems to dominate. There is some light strawberry notes behind that, but this particular bottle does not come across as tasty or refreshing.

Pre-wine. For steaks on the grill. Pretty good as usual.

This vintage seems sharp, tart, and less rich than prior vintages.
