Great QPR at $6.99 on sale. Nice sipper, though a touch lemony on the finish. Enjoyed it with skillet veggies. Would like to have had some mourvèdre or cinsault to add to the complexity, but you can't have everything at this price.

N: A melange of grapes/minerals/flowers, the grapes SLIGHTLY atop
P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt met by an initially ALMOST puckerish acidity which loses the pucker as it morphs into a LONG, tangy/swt (65:35) finish with a VERY, slight bitterness. My VG/VG+. For now & into EARLY '20, the bitterness being at least somewhat problematic. 86 pts WS. [This vendor's $9.95 puts it in the top 20% of wine-searcher's current listings.]

Light pale pink in color. Full, fragrant & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of strawberries, cherries & watermelon with overtones of floral notes, some spices & minerals. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, crisp, ripe fruit flavors of strawberries, cranberries & sour cherries with some spices & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present & has some limited potential for additional development with another year of aging but definitely best consumed in its youth. A blend of 30% Grenache Noir & 70% Syrah. A great value when found around $10.
